About Us

Established in 1954 by the late Michael Martin (Senior), now managed by Michael Martin (Junior) and staffed by his daughter Michelle, third generation photographer Shane Larkin, Michael's nephew, and Photographic Technician, Michele Noonan. The studio specializes in wedding, portraiture, and commercial photography. Capturing these magical moments comes as second nature to Michael and Shane.

Michael joined his father's business in the 70's. Prior to this, he worked as freelance cameraman with the Independent Newspaper Group. During those days he photographed such historic occasions as the visits of Jacqueline Onassis, the Kennedy family, Presidents Nixon and Reagan, Mohammad Ali and many more dignitaries & stars. Michael is no stranger to winning awards with a long list of awards to his credit.

An associate member of the Irish Professional Photographers Association, Michael has featured in the "British Journal of Photography" and lectured and displayed his work at seminars in both the United States and Ireland.

Shane is a talented photographer with years of experience with the family run business. He has won the prestigious award, "Fuji Wedding Photographer of the Year" as well as various IPPA Awards. He is also a licentiate member of the Irish Professional Photographers Association.

Michele Noonan, is our latest addition to the staff. As our Photographic Technician, Michele handles all of the photographic inhancements. Whether it be photo restoration, removal of spots, head swaps, opening eyes when possible or adding people that weren't present etc., Michele is able to complete the job at hand while still maintaining the high standards of our studio.

For nearly 60 years, our studio has been serving the people of Ireland, changing with the times to suit our clients needs. Our studio is proud of it's long standing quality and reliability and strives to better itself daily. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work.
